State Lottery Project: Who wins? Who loses?
Students will work in groups to compare the NY Lottery system to that of another state. Within the project, they will analyze game design, chances of winning, prize structure, generated revenue, use of revenue, and ethical issues surrounding the lottery. The culminating assessment will be a State Lottery Symposium where students will display presentations about their comparative state lottery study.
